New Mobility Scooters

We supply a wide range of mobility scooters for a variety of uses. In order to decide which one is right for you, it is important to know what you require of it. Will you need to transport it in the boot of your car? How much room have you got to store it at home? Will you be using it over rough ground?

At London Mobility Warehouse we will talk you carefully through the different models available and let you take them for a test drive. We stock scooters from Pride, Sunrise Mobility, Electric Mobility and DMA, but if there is a particular make or model you require, we can almost certainly get hold of it.

Mobility scooters fall into two classes. In both cases there is no requirement for a licence, insurance, road tax or registration, although we do recommend taking out some sort of third party insurance at least, which we can arrange for you.

Class 2 scooters are designed to go on the pavement only and have a maximum speed of 4mph. Models in this class vary greatly, from lightweight, fold-up scooters which have a range of around 10 miles, to heavier scooters which will run for 20-30 miles on a single battery charge.

Class 3 scooters have a maximum speed of 8mph for use on the road, though they're not permitted on motorways or dual-carriageways. These heavier-duty scooters come fitted with a full light kit and tend to have larger wheels, better seating, suspension all round and a much longer range - up to 45 miles per charge. Whereas Class 2 scooters will carry between 14 and 25 stone in weight, Class 3 scooters have a capacity of 25 to 35 stone.

Class 2

Go Go 3 and 4

Three or four-wheeler. Will fold to fit in a Micra. Heaviest part: 29lb. Carrying capacity 18 stone. Up to 10 miles per charge. RRP: £1,350 (three-wheel) and £1,450 (four-wheel)

Revo 3 and 4

Three or four-wheeler. Dismantles to fit in most mid-range cars. Heaviest part: 48lb. Carrying capacity: 21 stone. Up to 20 miles per charge. RRP: £1,825 (three-wheel) and £1,875 (four-wheel)

Legend Classic 3 and 4

Three or four-wheeler. Not intended to dismantle. Carrying capacity: 25 stone. Up to 25 miles per charge. Rear suspension. Lights, indicators and horn. Captain seat with headrest and manual recline. Delta tiller. RRP: £2,150 (three-wheel) and £2,200 (four-wheel)

Class 3
